I also think that after modern warfare: remastered which came bundled with infinite warfare, activision doesn't want to split multiplayer community. I like the general gameplay, quality of maps (tank maps, especially) and feel of weapons but waw multiplayer was basically a cod 4 with ww2 theme, aside from several improvements.
